- Electronic Export Information (EEI) via AES
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipper's Letter of Instruction
- Export License (if required by BIS)
Procedure
- File EEI via AESDirect for shipments > $2,500
- Obtain ITN (Internal Transaction Number)
- Provide ITN to carrier
- Cargo departs

- CBP Form 3461 (Entry/Immediate Delivery)
- CBP Form 7501 (Entry Summary)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- B/L or AWB
- Bond (continuous or single entry)
Procedure
- File entry within 15 days of arrival
- Pay estimated duties (CBP Form 7501)
- Customs examination (if selected)
- Liquidation (final duty determination, up to 314 days)
